Nigerian multi-talented star, Elvis Poko, fondly known as “Sweet Papi,” is set to release his highly anticipated debut album, “Waterside Boy.” This 13-track masterpiece is a captivating blend of Afro-pop, Highlife, Fuji, Afrobeat, and Hip-Hop, drawing inspiration from Elvis’ rich heritage in Arogbo, Ondo State.

“Waterside Boy” is a deeply personal project, crafted during serene moments by the water’s edge. The album pays homage to legendary musicians like Eko Toikumor, Fela Kuti, and Barrister Smooth, reflecting Elvis’ belief in music’s power to unite.

To celebrate the album’s release, Poko and his unique band, D’Annonymous 90, will perform live at Terra Culture Arena, Lagos on December 8, 2024. The event, a collaboration between Dabinchi Global Entertainment and One Pound Promotions LTD, will also feature Elvis’ latest single, “Opukimi.”
Beyond his musical endeavors, Elvis Poko is a renowned comedian and actor, captivating audiences with his hilarious performances. He is now poised to take his unique blend of comedy and music to the international stage, embarking on a UK tour to share his distinctive Afro-pop sound with global audiences.

As Elvis continues to rise to prominence, he remains grounded in his roots, stating, “This sound is an inspiration from the creeks of Arogbo. My best is yet to come.”
