The highly anticipated Monique Live In Concert took place on Friday, October 11, 2023, at Pistis Hub in Maryland, Lagos, captivating audiences with an unforgettable evening of worship, praise, and inspiration.
With a stellar lineup that included celebrated gospel artists such as Onos, Joepraize, Mike Abdul, Steve Hills, Elijah Daniel, Adegbodun Twins and others the event successfully united attendees under the theme “Arise.”
The concert was further enhanced by special guest appearances from renowned personalities, including Woli Arole and Wumi Toriola and others who contributed to the vibrant atmosphere of faith and celebration.
Monique, the event’s headliner, expressed her heartfelt enthusiasm during the concert.
Speaking with news men she said: “The Bible says when two or three are gathered in His name, we have gathered today. And God honors His name; He honors His word. I am particularly looking forward to testimonies on every side because it has been happening, and it won’t stop happening.”
Mike Abdul highlighted the role of music in promoting positivity and spirituality, saying, “It’s about using praise and worship to promote godliness in the land.”
Adding to the conversation, Joepraize emphasized the significance of gospel music in spreading the message of faith. He remarked, “We are to propagate the gospel. We are to expand the reach and influence and affluence of the kingdom of God on earth through gospel music. A pastor can preach for three hours, and a member may struggle to understand what he is saying, with all due respect. But if you put that same message in a song, they catch it and begin to receive it.”
