The pro-biafra agitators under the name, Biafran Republic Government In Exile (BRGIE) has disclosed its intention to release a geographical diagram to depict the new entity, called Biafra nation.

BRGIE, in a statement said that the group has chosen December 2, 2024 to make known to the public what it calls ’40 United States of Biafra Map’ with focus on declaration. 

This was contained on its official X handle, stating that the move is to further consolidate the actualization of their intention to have Biafra Independence become a reality. 

Recall that the Biafra agitators, Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, and BRGIE lead, Simon Ekpa have continued to push for the liberation of Biafra despite oppositions by the Nigerian government. 

BRGIE in one its move recently, engaged former United States lawmaker and lobbyist to help convince the US government to support Biafra’s secession from Nigeria.
