The Pro-Biafra agitators, Biafra Republic Government in Exile BRGIE, has reviewed the move by the Nigerian government to facilitate its extradition from Finland as a wrong move, stating
that dialogue is a better option than extradition.

In reaction to the alleged move by the country’s security formation to facilitate the extradition, BRGIE in a statement through its lead official X handle urged officials of the Nigerian government to participate in the Finland billed Convention coming up soon instead of extradition.

According to BRGIE, participating in the convention would allow the Nigerian officials to engage in the debate regarding the move for Biafra liberation.

The statement stressed that the constant call by the federal authority on the European Union and Finland to take action over Ekpa’s extradition confirms the legitimacy of his drive for liberation.

“We are inviting the presence of Nigeria officials, representatives and other observers, to honour this confab in Finland and see it as an opportunity to engage BRGIE government on the podium for a debate on Nigeria.

“We are also inviting the country’s foreign affairs ministry to the convention, so that we can dialogue and reach a truce.

“Moreover, the constant call by the Nigerian government on the EU and Finland to take action against me only confirms the legitimacy and potency of the Biafra government in Exile and the Biafra de facto government in the homeland,” it stated.
