ABUJA – Former National Secretary of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Dr Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has described allegations made by wanted bandit kingpin, Kachalla Bello Turji, against the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, as tissues of lies.

Turji had alleged that the Minister supported banditry in Zamfara State.

Speaking on Tuesday, Shinkafi, who also serves as the Executive Director of Patriots for the Advancement of Peace and Social Development, stated that Turji’s claims were baseless and diversionary.

Shinkafi emphasized that Turji’s allegations were a desperate attempt to deflect attention from his criminal activities.

He commended security agencies for their efforts in fighting terrorism and urged the public to ignore Turji’s rantings.

He said, “No right-thinking person should pay attention to this tissue of lies poorly concocted and fabricated by a terrorist.

“In this light, we urge members of the public to ignore this ranting of a deranged terrorist seeking public attention.

“No amount of blackmail and propaganda by terrorists and political opponents will distract the Minister of State for Defence from crushing banditry, insurgency, militancy and terrorism in Nigeria.

“We commend security agencies for their patriotism in the war against terror and upholding the territorial integrity of the nation.”
