President Bola Tinubu

The Arewa Youth Ambassadors (AYA), an organisation of political awareness to enlighten the youths about their role in good leadership in Nigeria, said it has sacked its National Coordinator, Yahaya Abdullahi for allegedly calling for a protest against the Tinubu government.
AYA also called for the investigation of Comrade Abdullahi over allegations of tribalism and corruption while replacing him with Mallam Muhammad Lawal as their new National Coordinator.
While addressing a press conference in Kaduna, AYA’s Namadi Duniya, said Abdullahi’s sack followed a decision which was reached unanimously by the EXCO following an emergency meeting held on 13th July 2024 in Dutse, Jigawa State.
“We couldn’t comprehend nor explain the reason for the Coordinator’s change in behaviour, his statements and actions no longer represent or align with that of our organisation and have therefore called for action. The coordinator’s recent outbursts, attacks on Government and it’s economic reform policies and call for protest has revealed his ulterior motives, hence lack of patriotism.”
“The same person who was alive and healthy, sat and watched the eight years of former president Buhari and never called for protest or attacked any of his policies, but is very comfortable doing it now. Reason been that Buhari is from the North, same region he hails from and President Tinubu is not. This is tribalism and we will not accept a tribalist as our Coordinator.”
“We are not with him in this, it is his position and his sponsors but not that of Arewa Youth Ambassadors and we call on our members to shun this protest, we are calling on security agencies, the DSS and Police, to closely investigate this fellow, make sure law and order is maintained and hold him responsible for any breach in public peace or chaos capable of sabotaging economic activities.”
