There is no doubt that Nigeria’s music industry is getting bigger with more prospects. It’s not out of place to imply that the newness, ingenuity and the innovations of the new entrants play a major role in the enviable status of the industry.

Meanwhile, this multi-talented music act simply known as Michael Anao, ranks among practitioners who are contributing meaningfully to the industry. 

Anao started exhibiting his love and passion for music from his early days at Christ Army Academy, Abuja. He continued while he was studying for his National Diploma at the  Petroleum Training Institute, Warri, and later, University of Benin, where he bagged a degree in Mechanical Engineering.

 Michael recalls how he would often sneak away to record songs in his friend’s studio thereby honing his skills when he was a secondary student in Abuja.

 When he finally decided to take the leap, his debut single “Gimme Slow” became an effort to watch.

Under his label, Busy Brain Entertainment, Micheal has been churning out hits that  include “Fighting” and “Play Play”. His latest release, “Die Young”, (Tribute) is a heartfelt ode to loss of loved ones.
