The Senior Special Assistant on Media to the Delta State Governor Mr Ossai Ovie Success has said the State Governor Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has reduced the rate of unemployment in Delta State .

According to Ossai on his social media pages , Unemployment rates has been reduced significantly by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori .

He said the Governor Sheriff Oborevwori administration has achieved significant milestones in youth empowerment, employment, and infrastructure development in Delta State.

“Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has reduced youth unemployment through skills acquisition programs and grants, benefited over 50,000 youths through empowerment initiatives, employed over 3,000 teaching and non-teaching staff to improve primary education, Supported traders and artisans with N500 million in grants, Increased the number of beneficiaries of the D-CARES program by 205% (from 36,353 to 110,841), appointing youths to key positions , programmes and, leveraging their strengths and talents, Implementing initiatives that have positively impacted the lives of Deltans, particularly young people, within his first year in office.

His commitment to the people of Delta State is evident in his dedication to human capacity development, infrastructure development, and economic growth.”.
