Residents of Committee on Resettlement and Development (CRD) Layout, in Lugbe Airport Road, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja have reported a developer to President Bola Tinubu and Nyesom Wike, over alleged illegal demolition of their property.

Chairman of CRD 3 Layout landlords Alhaji Abdulwasiu Mustafa, in a statement, wondered why the developer would allegedly embark on the demolition when the case was still in court.

Besides the demolition, Mustafa alleged that the residents have become subjects of attack, humiliation and intimidation by the developer.

He said, “The residents of Committee on Resettlement and Development (CRD) Layout, in Lugbe Airport Road, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja of CRD Layout Lugbe are sending SOS messages to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Barr. Nyesom Wike to come to our help because of attack by a fellow citizen.

“The matter of the land case between CRD that is in Court with the Owner of River Park is now witnessing the demolition of their properties, attack, humiliation and intimidation by the developer.

“How come they are demolishing people’s properties now that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in power”

“During Obasanjo’s Government when the then FCT Minister Mallam Nasir el Rufia was demolishing illegal estate and layout he didn’t touch CRD because of our documents and our Original surveyor’s document,” he said.
