A young sensational football star, Prince Nathan Adejoh was a cynosure at a private national football academy tournament as he put up an excellent performance when his side, Siaone Soccer Academy quipped another young Nigerian soccer academy representing Italian giant, AS Roma, one goal to nil, in a match played at Moshood Abiola stadium Abuja, the federal capital.
The sensational match sponsored by Atom Foundation, attracted the presence of top Nigerian football stars and legends that include the two time African footballer of the year, Kanu Nwankwo, the duo of Leicester players Kelechi Ihenacho and Ndidi. Others are his mentor and role model, Victor Osimhen among others football stars and celebrities.
The14-year-old Prince Adejoh, son of Dr. Adejoh Suleiman, the president of Messengers of Peace and convener of National Peace Awards displayed a tactical skill in a game that became a hard nut to crack till the 85th minute when Adejoh fired a cutting edge free kick from 25 yard box that went straight to the goal post.
It came with an unprecedented speed, making it difficult for the young AS Roma goal keeper to save, handing Siaone Academy a clear winning ticket at the end of the tournament.
The young lad was handed Siaone Soccer Academy winning ticket which also went down with a whopping N1m prize money from the organisers.
This singular feat at the prime of his soccer career has also attracted accolades from football stakeholders and sports lovers who believe he is a potential talent that will bring honour to Nigeria in no distant future.
Adejoh’s shine also offered him opportunity to network with top footballers, Nollywood celebrities and popular entertainers at the ournament.
