The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has appointed Mr. Sam Egube, as the new Deputy Chief of Staff, DCoS.

The appointment came following the sudden death of former DCoS, Gboyega Sonyannwo, who died at the age of 55 after a brief illness.

Recall that Egube was the immediate past Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, in the first term of Sanwo-Olu administration.

The appointment was announced on Wednesday, by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Mr. Mr. Gboyega Akosile, via his official X handle, formerly Twitter.
