The leadership and stakeholders of Mgbuoshimini community in Rumueme Kingdom, Rivers State, have said that the arrest of the wanted notorious cultist, Daddy Chukwu, who allegedly has been terrorising their area has restored peace to their community.
The community made the disclosure in a statement, yesterday, in Port Harcourt, through former Vice President-General, Mgbuoshimini Community Development Council, Weli Nyeche; Princewill Adele, Elder, Head of Okocha/Adele family, Iche Adele, Elder and Stakeholder, Godfrey Onuoha Amadi, Chairman, Mgbuoshimini Oro-Akwor Community Development Council, CDC, Livingstone Wechie, stakeholder and others.

The body commended the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Kayode Egbetokun and the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Tunji Disu, for the arrest of Daddy, noting that the development has returned security to their area.
The statement read: “We the leadership and stakeholders of Mgbuoshimini community in Rumueme Kingdom, Rivers State officially express our commendation to IGP, Mr. Egbetokun and the Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Disu for bringing the notorious killer Daddy Chukwu a.k.a Onpni to justice.
“We specially thank the IGP and the CP for this landmark victory which has restored a strong sense of safety and security in Mgbuoshimini community in Rumueme Kingdom, Rivers State. We also congratulate CP Disu for winning the Commissioner of Police of the year Award from the IGP as this did not come to us as a surprise.”
