Ondo lacks development plan – Tokunbo Kayode, Ex AGF

— Congratulate Aiyedatiwa on primary election victory, charges him on reconciliation

Former Attorney General of the Federation and Justice Minister, Adetokunbo Kayode, has asked governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo state, to get together a solid nonpartisan team, to put in place a Development Plan for the progress of the state.

Kayode said this while congratulating the governor on his victory at the just concluded APC primaries for the 2024 governorship election in the state.

He said that “Our State currently lacks a roadmap that can take it to the promised land”.

 The former minister, advised the governor “to look forward to the general election with confidence while building bridges for the inevitable victory.

He tasked the governor to look beyond party lines to draw to his side, young and  brilliant indigenes  who would be of immense benefit to the administration and the development of Ondo State.

Kayode noted that ” After elections, the task of developing the state does not lie with an individual or a political party.

“I congratulate a compatriot, friend, and the incumbent governor of Ondo state, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa for clinching the ticket of APC.

” No doubt, the party has displayed a total commitment to the ethos of democracy and embraced fairness.

“The time is now for the candidate to reconcile all factions and “tendencies” within the party. This is the time to  form a common front for victory and good governance.
