Fast-rising and talented artist Afrobeat rapper and singer, Mubarak Oyeyemi, aka M B Billy, has declared that he is in the Nigerian entertainment industry to make a remarkable impact.

Mubarak said he will in no time revolutionise the industry with music that are impactful and loaded with strong messages. Hailing from Osun State, M B Billy announced his awesome presence on the mainstream Nigerian entertainment industry recently with tracks that continue to amaze millions of music lovers across board.

Speaking to Vanguard recently about his musical career, personality and inspiration among others, he said: “I broke into the music scene with my EP named Third World Words. It comprises seven tracks where I featured just one artist Osnuf. The track was released in 2022.

“My planned contribution to the music industry is to bring a whole new commanding presence with sounds loaded with quality messages. The quality and value of music keeps deprecating in lyrical contents and this is quite saddening.

“I am here to fix the boisterous. I just released a video of my EP ‘Third World Words Pack My Sorrow’, and it has been receiving a lot of positive reviews.”

Speaking about his inspiration, he said: “The inspiration behind my latest song is about the reality of life. You have to be keen on achieving your dreams to live the life you wish for.

“You will be criticised for what you believe in but stand up irrespective of the hurdles and just win.”
