Digital financial service provider strengthens financial position with N2.5b CP repayment

An integrated digital financial service provider, CapitalSage Technology Limited, said that it has paid its fourth Commercial Paper valued at N2.5b.

The Group Managing Director of CapitalSage Holdings, John Alamu, said this followed a rating upgrade to BBB+ by a Pan African leader in credit ratings, Agusto & Company.

Alamu noted that “The Pan African credit ratings said that the repayment is built on our strong financial performance from last year, with CapitalSage successfully redeemed N3.8b in obligations by fulfilling N2.5b commercial paper repayment under its N15b Commercial Paper Programme.

“The rating upgrade, further demonstrates CapitalSage’s commitment towards fiscal responsibility and steady business growth. The rating upgrade is upheld by the sustained improvements in the Company’s net earnings and cash flows on the back of the sturdy demand for its service offerings and its expanded operating scale.”
