The premier business accelerator program dedicated to empowering African entrepreneurs, BAP.AFRICA, proudly announces the successful completion of its inaugural pilot edition.
The pilot program brought together a diverse cohort of over 40 entrepreneurs from various parts of the state, eager to learn, collaborate, and scale their ventures. Held over 7 intensive hours, the program provided participants with access to industry experts, actionable insights, and hands-on guidance tailored to their specific needs.
Tolu Adepena, founder of BAP.AFRICA, expressed his vision: “My goal is to help budding entrepreneurs in Africa scale up their businesses, access knowledge, and secure funding. Through BAP.AFRICA, we are committed to empowering the next generation of African business leaders and driving sustainable growth across the continent.”
The pilot edition featured an impressive lineup of mentors, including industry luminaries like Ifeoma Okoroafor, CEO of Tenera Hospitality Management; Abayomi Adewumi Lead consultant Global Leadership Institute ; Andrew Adeniji, CEO of Andrezini Limited; and Precious Eniayekan, CEO of Rivil Consult. These leaders shared their expertise and real-world experiences, touching on subjects like scaling a business, customer acquisition and retention, personal branding for founders. The facilitators inspired participants on their entrepreneurial journey.
Reflecting on the success, Tolu Adepena expressed gratitude: “We are thrilled with the response to our program and its impact. The journey has only just begun, and we look forward to continuing to support and empower entrepreneurs across Africa.”
BAP.AFRICA remains committed to fostering innovation, driving economic growth, and creating lasting impact within the African business community. Plans are already underway for future editions with an expanded curriculum and even greater opportunities for entrepreneurs to thrive.
