StepUp2Tech, a mentorship-driven initiative dedicated to empowering aspiring developers, has successfully concluded its 4-week structured mentorship bootcamp, equipping participants with practical web development skills, real-world project experience, and career guidance.

The Bootcamp session which started from the 9th of February 2024 to the 7th of March 2024 was led by Charles Ayere, a full stack web developer and a team of experienced industry professionals. The program focused on bridging the gap between learning and real-world application, ensuring mentees not only acquired technical skills but also received one-on-one mentorship, career coaching, and networking opportunities to accelerate their transition into the tech industry.

Over the course of four weeks, the bootcamp followed a structured curriculum designed to provide mentees with hands-on experience in full-stack web development, problem-solving, and software engineering best practices. Each week featured live coding and project-building sessions tackling real-world development challenges, one-on-one mentorship check-ins where mentees received personalized feedback and career advice, portfolio and resume-building workshops to help participants showcase their skills to employers, technical interview preparation sessions to enhance job readiness, and networking and industry insights from experienced professionals.

The bootcamp welcomed 50 mentees, many of whom have already begun applying their newfound skills in freelance projects, internships, and full-time tech roles.
