It’s a new month.  Let’s give God all the glory for He has taken us through the first two months of 2024.  Congratulations!

Brethren, this is the month of March, are you prepared to march into victory, success, fruitfulness?

If the answer is yes, it simply means that you are hopeful.   It means your faith is unshaken.

You may have been on the queue of those waiting on the LORD for healing, promotion, fruitfulness etc. Remain on the queue.

What is clear is that you want to move from an unpleasant situation to a pleasant one.  How you do it depends solely on you.

Some people may decide to crawl; some walk and others march into the next level.

The one   that opts for marching is the one that is tired of the current situation that is the step of someone who wants to be celebrated.

Brethren, if you are currently engaged in fasting or regular prayers, you are on the line of marching believers.

Fasting and praying are acts that require the faith of the Believer. Fasting and praying with doubts in one’s mind, may achieve nothing except of course, God shows mercy.

When we have faith we must also trust that the LORD that we have spoken to will answer us.

Often times, our faith tends to shake because we get tired of waiting.

Proverbs 16 vs. 9 ( NIV) tells us: “ In their hearts humans plan their course, but the LORD establishes their steps”.

In other words, you may be considering your age, wishing to get married or have children around a particular period but God’s time often times differs from ours.

Brethren, a Christian   that trusts the LORD cannot be tired of  waiting.  This period is really when the level of our faith is tested.

Let’s always bear in mind that as Christians, we need to imbibe the virtue of patience lest we fall into wrong hands and when this happens, the miracle we expect may elude us.

Psalm 84 vs. 10-12 gives us some tips about how to handle  the period of waiting.

It states: “ For a day in thy courts is better than  a thousand.  I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee”.

This Bible  passage seems simple but it is loaded with  suggestions about how we should relate with God.

To be a doorkeeper in the house of God could mean to wait on the Lord for as long as it takes.  In other words, keep knocking  the door of the Lord with  prayers.   Never get desperate to try the way of the wicked.

How do I mean?   A woman waiting on the LORD for children should resist the temptation to buy a stolen baby.    Make up your mind that the child you would have in that marriage would be biological.

Resist the temptation of adultery.

When a woman waits on the Lord for so long, you begin to hear all sorts of ungodly advise.

Friends may tell her to date another man to get pregnant.   Some even go  to the extent of sleeping with herbalists. These are the ways  of the wicked.

Sister, if you want to adopt a child,  you and your husband must agree to do this and it must be done legally.   Any step taken in the way of the wicked would end in sorrow and tears.

That would not be your portion in Jesus name.

Rather, chose to walk uprightly before the LORD.  Abstain from sinful acts.  Let your best friend be JESUS.   In prayer, open up your heart to the LORD .  The Bible passage we quoted gives us an assurance that God will “ give grace and glory: and no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly”.

It simply means that your testimony is assured because as you do his will, He will grant your request.

A further assurance is that you would be blessed because you trust in Him.

Blessings come in many forms depending on one’s request.

For a woman waiting on the LORD for children, she is blessed when she delivers a baby.

In the case of the man or woman waiting for a life partner, the day of her marriage is the day that everyone cannot ignore her blessing.

As you march with confidence in your walk with God,  may the  LORD give you a miracle that would surprise you in Jesus name.

Brethren, may I assure you that there is nothing you are passing through that others have not gone through before.

The difference is how you overcome the challenges.

Overcoming challenges isn’t an easy journey, I dare say, it is filled with many potholes.

Anyone in this situation is likely to be mocked or even rejected by friends or even relations.

I’ll share with you the story of a young couple living in the northern part of the country though they are from the South West region.

They were married for   about four years and  couldn’t have a baby.

A relation of the husband visited the couple.  The wife rushed to the kitchen to prepare food for the August visitor.

As she approached the visitor and her husband in the sitting room, she heard the woman that visited telling her husband that this woman’s  (his wife) body is full of fat and she cannot bear children.

The woman presented the food and didn’t let them know that she over heard their conversation.

That was all she needed to know that household enemies were after her marriage.

She knew that only God could help her win that kind of battle.

The woman ran to the Lord in prayers and in the lifetime of the woman who travelled down to tell her husband that his wife may never have children, she had a set of twins two times along with other single babies.

Our God is indeed awesome!

Brethren, a couple of weeks ago, the Nigerian Television had as its major news bulletin, a story that the newscaster called Good News.

By the grace of God, good news is coming your way this year in the name of Jesus.

The NTA reported the story of a couple, Mr. & Mrs. Nwachukwu  who had waited for 13 years to have children.

The couple said they had almost given up but their testimony arrived because they trusted God with patience.

They told the story of how the woman had several miscarriages. Both of them began to lose hope but the God of suddenly intervened in their situation and the woman conceived.

The doctors at Abuja National Hospital knew she was going to have multiple babies indeed they saw five babies.

That was not going to be a regular delivery.  They prepared for it but according to the Senior Consultant that led the delivery process, after taking out the five babies that the scan picked, they discovered another baby.  The sixth baby.

Brethren, why was the baby not seen?  This should tell you that the wonders  of God are beyond medical science.

So, the woman that was mocked for 13 years, the woman whose husband must have been told to go and marry another wife in one day became a mother of sextuplets.

The new mother who was unknown, suddenly became a celebrity.

Individuals and government agencies flooded the hospital to give her presents.

God gave her an  overflow of what she lacked for 13years.

As you wait on the Lord, be prepared to march into your blessings with prayer and patience and every soon, you would be saying:

“ It is the LORD’s doing; and it is marvelous in our eyes”.  Psalm 118 vs. 23.

 Hallelujah!
