As the world celebrate St. Valentine today, the Igwe elect of Ogugu-Ntegbenese Ancient Kingdom in Awgu Local Government Area of Enugu State, High Chief Aloysius Ogbonna, sent a heartfelt message to his people.

The Igwe-elect, Chief Ogbonna urged the people of Ogugu not to exchange only tokens of affection but also to extend acts of kindness and support to one another, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie among all members of the community.

In his statement, made available to pressmen in Enuhu, Chief Ogbonna emphasized the importance of embracing the spirit of love, unity, and empathy within the Ogugu community, drawing inspiration from the timeless legacy of St. Valentine.

Highlighting St. Valentine’s unwavering commitment to spreading love and kindness, Chief Ogbonna called upon the residents of Ogugu to reflect on these values and incorporate them into their daily lives.

He expressed gratitude to Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State for his exemplary leadership and dedication to the betterment of the state, acknowledging Governor Mbah’s efforts in bringing positive change to Ogugu.
