Media under attack in Nigeria; democracy in danger — Guild of Editors

Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the September 21,  governorship election in Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has commiserated with the General Secretary of the Nigerian Guild of Editors, NGE, Dr. Iyobosa Uwugiaren, over the death of his father, Chief Uwugiaren Enabulele.

In a statement, yesterday, Senator Okpebholo said from the various condolence messages so far, it was obvious that Chief Enabulele was a worthy community leader in Urhonigbe town of Edo State.

He said though he died at the ripe age of 102 years, late Enabulele, who was the Odionwere of Idunwem-Egbo, Urhonigbe, in Orhionmwon Local Government Area of Edo State, would not be forgotten.

Okpebholo prayed to God to grant the family, his community and well-wishers the fortitude to bear the loss.
