Apostle Solomon Moses Mustapha (Babasebioba) has advised worshippers to be strong for the enemies not cage them as he urged his members to observe 50 days prayer and fasting to be able to subdue their troublers this year.
The General Overseer took his sermon from the book of Genesis 49:9 “Judah said, my son, is a young lion that has finished eating its prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness—who dares to rouse him?
“In the covenant of the Almighty God, I prophesy that you will never know bitterness this year in Jesus name. On this 14th day (last Sunday) 2024 being the sabbath day , our 50 days prayer and fasting has commenced. and it is expected of us to put on white attire to herald the commencement of this special time with the lord”
“The white attire holds special significance, symbolizing positive energy, a clean and pure image, and a symbol of innocence.
Choosing to wear white is not just a style preference but a transformative step toward
inviting positivity into your life…Luke 9:29 “As he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning”
At this covenant with the Lord , God siad we should fast and pray for 50 days , just as He said in Daniel 9:3-5. “So I turned to the Lord God and pleaded with him in prayer and petition, in fasting, and
in sackcloth and ashes. I prayed to the LORD my God and confessed, “Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps his covenant of love with those who love him and keep his commandments.
The Lord said this is a covenant between Him and I and he said he will manifest himself as God, as the all-powerful God, the Iam that I am, and of course, that is the nature of God.
In the book of John chapter 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
[2] The same was in the beginning with God. [3] All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. [4] In him was life; and the life was the light of men…
Beside God, there is nothing, in Him there is light and darkness comprehended it not “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not John 1:5 “and in verses 12 He Said as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God.
The three strong men in the Bible These three men were very strong in the Bible in prayer and fasting and they were able to subdued their foes. It was expressly stated in the Bible that even Jesus our lord fasted and he was empowered…After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said,“If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. So, if Jesus could fast, who are we?
This 50 days of prayer and fasting is an opportunity for everyone participating to enjoy the favour of God. The covenant of the 50 days prayer and fasting is strategic and the benefit is for all in Jesus name.
I Babasebioba personally fasted for 50 days, the Lord also spoke to me to fast for 250 days which I did. As also led by God in another occasion, I fasted for one year still on instruction from God.
I plead with you this year to participate in all our programmes irrespective of your location.
The three strong men: Judah Judah is the first example of the three strong men. His father established him, called him a Lion in Genesis 49:9″From the prey. Like a lion he crouches and lies down; like a lioness, who dares to rouse him? … Judah is a lion. Jacob himself made the remark. No body confront a lion.
“My son is a lion” He is not an ordinary person. Who are you to withstand a strong man? It is only the stronger man that can face the strong man. So, you need to be stronger to confront the strong man.
You need power and if you lack this power, the strong men in the world will make jest of you and tame you. 2 Samuel 18:3 “But the people answered, thou shalt not go forth: for if we flee away, they will not care for us; neither if half of us die, will they care for us: but now thou art worth ten thousand of us: therefore now it is better that thou succour us out of the city.
Comparing one person to ten thousand people from where we have read? You just need to be powerful to change your world and subdue your enemies; you need power to move forward; you need power to fly; you need power to pursue and overtake…In Samuel 30:8 “And David inquired of Jehovah, saying, If I pursue after this troop, shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue; for thou shalt surely overtake them, and shalt without fail recover all…those who are frustrating you from moving forward shall be destroyed in Jesus name.
Samson Example In Judges 15:14 . The Bible said Samson finding a fresh jawbone of a donkey, he grabbed it and struck down a thousand men.
Then Samson said, “With a donkey’s jawbone , I have made donkeys of them. With a donkey’s jawbone I have killed a thousand men.”When he came to Lehi, the Philistines came shouting to meet him.
Then the Spirit of the LORD rushed upon him, and the ropes that were on his arms became as flax that has caught fire, and his bonds melted off his hands. Samson alone killed over 1000 philistines. That is what power can do.
David Example Infact, David used ordinary stone to kill the mighty Goliath and this scenario made him another strong man in the Bible In 1 Samuel 17:50-53 “David defeated Goliath with a sling and a rock. He killed him without even using a sword. David ran over and pulled out Goliath’s sword.
Then he used it to cut off Goliath’s head. The Bible said, the stone went straight to the forehead and brought Goliath down. That is what power entails.
Those who are tormenting you will soon be brought down in Jesus name. What you need is power and the only way to acquire this power is to connect yourself in the ongoing 50 days prayer and fasting.
