AAU Alumni Association mourns Warri chapter chairman

The Ambrose Alli University Alumni Association, Warri Chapter has described the death of its Chairman, Omoefe Pela Taiga as a great loss, not only to the Association, but to the legal profession and the society at large.

Eulogizing the deceased Chairman who was described as a great compatriot and asset to the Association, said she was a selfless and promising lawyer whose life was cut short by death.

A statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of AAU Alumni Association, Warri Chapter, Emoghware Steve Ese disclosed that the death of the Chairman of the Warri Chapter which occured
on the 8th of January, 2024 was painful and regrettable.

While commiserating with her family and all alumni of the University particularly, members of the Warri Chapter, where she was Chairman until her sudden death, the statement disclosed that the remains of the late Omoefe Taiga Pela would be laid to rest on Friday, 12th January, 2024 at her home town, Oginibo in Ughelli South local government area of Delta State.

The statement further enjoined all Ambrose Alli University Alumni members across Delta State to attend the funeral rites to accord the late Omoefe Pela Taiga their last respect.

She died at the age of 47 years and was survived by her father, mother, brothers, sisters and relatives.
