New Year Message: Asekutu commends Olu of Warri, Diden, others

On the occasion of the New Year, Hon Capt. Smart Yomi Asekutu, the Chairman of Warri North Local Government Council has extended his sincere greetings and congratulations to His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III, the Olu of Warri kingdom, as well as Evang. Michael Diden, the former chairman of The Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, DESOPADEC, DESOPADEC, and former Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Chairman, Papa Ayo Oritsejafor.

In a New year message yesterday, the Council chairman commended other members of the political class
Hon (Dr.) Godwin Toritsereju Ebosa , Chief Otimeyin Adams, Chief Lucky Tiemo, Alhaji Emmanuel Omoko and others he said were too numerous to mention.

He also praised dedicated security agencies, and the residents of Warri North Local Government Area.

In his press release Asekutu expresses his gratitude and admiration for the steadfast commitment and exemplary leadership demonstrated by His Royal Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III. The Chairman acknowledges the prevailing atmosphere of unity, peace, and progress that the Olu of Warri kingdom has fostered under his wise guidance. Asekutu adds that His Majesty’s dedication to the welfare and development of the kingdom continues to inspire all its inhabitants.

Regarding his own tenure, Asekutu recalls a public function where the king expressed his satisfaction with the Chairman’s reputation, urging him to promote peace in Warri North. Asekutu affirms that he has fulfilled this mandate to date.

Hon Asekutu also extends warm congratulations to Evang. Michael Diden, popularly known as Ejele, for his outstanding service and unwavering efforts in promoting inclusive growth, resolving issues with truth and fairness, and creating an environment conducive to sustainable development in the region. He recognizes Diden’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the people as an exemplary model for all.

Additionally, Chairman Asekutu extends his heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated security agencies, including the Police, Army, DSS, and Vigilantes, who have worked tirelessly to ensure the safety and well-being of the residents.
