A skin beauty expert, Tonia Obisike, has stressed the need for professionalism in the Skin beauty industry in Nigeria saying it is the only way  practitioners can compete globally.

The expert said that the only way the industry can grow effectively is if every player in the industry adopts best practices.

Obisike, who is the founder of Pinopino Cosmetics International Ltd, made this assertion recently in Lagos, while speaking with the media on her brands  contribution to the cosmetic industry in Nigeria.

Giving an insight into her journey in the industry she said.

In an industry plagued by unprofessional practices, She explained that she made up her mind to start the business and position as trained professional.

“My passion for skincare and a healthy, flawless skin became the foundation of my entrepreneurial journey. My love for seeing people radiate confidence with youthful, clean skin inspired me to establish Pinopino Cosmetics International Ltd.

My goal was simple: to create a spa experience that provided value, relaxation, and exceptional skincare services without compromising on the quality of products used.” She noted.

Shedding light on her business offering , the Skin beauty expert, narrates.

“When we started from the outset, what we focused  on was delivering results. The spa offers a range of services designed to meet diverse skincare needs while ensuring relaxation and rejuvenation.

Our commitment to using top-of-the-line products is evident, as we have meticulously enriched our skincare formulations with antioxidants, anti-inflammatory agents, anti-aging properties, sun protection, and hydration agents. This dedication ensures our clients achieve not just temporary beauty but long-term skin beauty and radiance.”

The expert opined that to further promote the cosmetics industry, she believes that Government should create an enabling environment for manufacturers. She said streamlining  importation duties and providing accessible loans for entrepreneurs will undoubtedly boost productivity and encourage growth in the industry.

Concluding, Obisike stresses the importance of professional training, mentorship, and experience for anyone who wants to play in the industry.

As in the medical field, she emphasizes the need for  learning and unlearning before practicing. Obisike urges aspiring professionals to focus on delivering value and exceeding their clients’ expectations
