The Chairman Nigerian APC Speakers Forum who doubled as The Chairman Northern Speakers Forum, Rt Hon Yusuf Ibrahim Zailani, has congratulated the President-elect of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on his victory in the General Elections of February 25th, 2023.

He also commended Nigerians for the peaceful and transparent outcome of the elections, which he said, demonstrated that the democratic process, values and principles remain the best way for the people to select their leaders and hold them accountable.

Zailani’s congratulatory message was contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ibrahim Dahiru Danfulani.

While wishing the former Governor of Lagos state a successful inauguration and tenure in office, Zailani said he looked forward to much more fruitful and robust engagements between the Legislative and the Executive arms of Government on shared priorities such as enhancing peace and security in the Country , democracy, and greater economic prosperity and social development.

He also saluted President Muhammadu Buhari for “his statesmanship and exemplary leadership to the people of Nigeria in the past Eight years and the profound legacies of his administration on Security, Agriculture, infrastructure, and education, as well as strong influence, and support of the rule of law
