The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi has come second after his counterpart in the New Nigeria People’s Party, NNPP, Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso, in a Fagge LGA of Kano State.

Obi polled 14,896 to defeat the two major parties, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress, APC and Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, who polled 4,060 and 5,416 respectively.

The result released by the INEC Returning Officer, Professor Aliyu Abdullahi Bichi, showed that Kwankwaso polled the highest vote with 23,162 votes.
