By Ruben Mairo

From Lagos to Toronto, Kevin Michael Onochie has charted a path that connects entertainment, business, and community development.

His story reflects the growing presence of African creatives shaping industries beyond their home countries.

Born on February 27, 1980, in Lagos State, Onochie hails from Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. He attended Keke High School in Agege, Lagos, and later graduated with a degree in Economics from Delta State University, Abraka, in 2004.

In 2010, he founded Echovisionz Multimedia Productions Inc., an entertainment and event production company that began in Nigeria and expanded to Canada in 2022. The company has since become known for organizing cultural and social events that bring together African and international audiences.

Beyond entertainment, Onochie serves as the Director of IVK Logistics, Canada, established in 2021, and leads the Echovisionz Hope Foundation, a non-profit focused on community support and empowerment.

In 2022, he was appointed the Representative of the Cubana Group in Ontario, Canada, and became the sole distributor of Odogwu Bitters in the region. That same year, he received the Best New Promoter Award in Toronto, Canada, in recognition of his growing influence in the event scene.

Holding dual citizenship in Nigeria and Canada, Kevin Onochie continues to evolve, blending cultural promotion, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
