The All Progressives Congress APC, candidate for Otukpo/Ohimini Federal Constituency and daughter of former Senate President, Senator David Mark, Mrs. Blessing Onuh has been declared the winner of Saturday’s election in the constituency.

In the result announced Monday by the Returning Officer, Prof, Inner Mathias, the APC candidate polled 29,031 to defeat her closest rival, Mr. Alex Ogbe of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who garnered a total of 21,742 votes.

Also, the APC candidate in the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal Constituency election, Chief Philip Agbese polled 19,083 to defeat Aida Naths of the PDP who polled 15,202 while the Labour Party candidate, Ralph Otobo garnered 14,960 votes.

The APC also claimed the House of Representatives seat in the Kwande/Ushongo Federal constituency.

Declaring the result in Adikpo Kwande LGA, the Returning Officer, Prof. Zaiyor Patrick said, Terseer Ugbor of APC polled a total of 40,813 votes to defeat his closest rival and incumbent lawmaker, Bob Tyough of the PDP who scored 19,489 votes while Prof. Kohol Iornen of the NNPP garnered 13,172 votes.

In the Oju/Obi Federal Constituency, David Ogewu of the APC also emerged victorious with 26,450 votes to defeat the incumbent and PDP candidate, Mr. Samson Okwu who polled 12,506 votes.

Also, in the Makurdi/Guma Federal constituency the APC candidate, Mr. Dickson Tarkighir polled 49,511 votes to defeat the incumbent and PDP candidate, Mr. Benjamin Uzondo who scored 43,803 votes.

In the Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal constituency, Mr. Solomon Wombo of the APC polled 59,595 votes to defeat the incumbent, Mr. Richard Gbande who polled 39,415 votes.

Also in the Buruku Federal Constituency, Mr. Sekav Iyortyom of the APC polled 15,713 votes to defeat the incumbent, Kpam Sokpo of the Labour Party who scored 12,971 votes, and Agber Terkaa who polled 8,003 votes
