Fast rising afrobeat singer and song writer, ERMA has just released his first debut EP which he tagged “Ready”.
Gbara Eedee Emmanuel professionally known as ERMA is a Nigerian afrobeat singer and song writer. He rose to fame after dropping his first EP project “Ready”.
He was pushed to release this EP after the comments he got from people who felt he was not ready to start a music career and this led to the name of his EP, Ready.
ERMA was born on 25th December, 1996 into the family of Mr and Mrs John Gbara in Rivers state, Nigeria. He was raised in port harcourt and spent his early years residing in Abuloma town.
The music genius, ERMA graduated from high school with good grades in his West African School Certificate. After secondary school, he gained admission into the university of science and technology Rivers State (RSUST) to study for a degree in business administration after four years of academic learning.
ERMA, a multi talented young boy has always had interest in music and dance and he often spent hours listening to songs from different genres ranging from Pop, Hip hop, Raggae, Afrobeats and highlife including watching the likes of Micheal Jackson, Usher and Nigerian musicians Psquare.
ERMA went from writing songs to singing them in front of a crowd in school parties and street carnivals in his community. After receiving positive reviews from his audience at that time, he decided to go into music full time.
ERMA as a student of RSUST was active in the school’s music scene and regula attended parties, shows and concerts. This made him a notable face in Unilag’s entertainment community and helped him to build a small and strong fan base.
ERMA has been a recording artist under Andachi Entertainment for months and has released his debut project, Ready EP which is available on all digital platforms.
He also made a short cover of finesse by BNXN and Pheelz on the 30th of march 2022 and it went viral on the internet.
He also dropped a fire verse on Asa’s song “I don’t go” featuring Bigwiz on the 3rd of July 2022.
