An energy expert , Emmanuel Akpakwu has advised government parastatals and corporate organisations to invest its resources to ensure constant power supply in offices.

He said uninterrupted electricity in workplace has been scientifically proven to lead to an increase in productivity both in the functional and psychological aspects of the workplace.

Akpakwu, who is also the Chief Executive Officer, of Ergo Renewable spoke on Tuesday while launching a Solar LED lighting solution in Abuja.

He stated that with the epileptic power supply in the country, companies must evolve means to improve power supply and lighting to get the best out of their employees.

Akpakwu said, ” Good lighting in a workplace improves productivity due to increased concentration, focus and staying alert for a longer period. Poor and epileptic lighting can impact the workplace of an employee or a student with lower productivity like visibility in the functional perspective of a workplace and depressive feelings in the psychological and emotional aspect of the workplace

The power issue in Nigeria has necessitated the need to look out for a reliable power for lighting solutions for homes and workplaces as an alternative means to compensate for the inadequate conventional power grids the country depends on.

We advised government parastatals and corporate organizations to invest its resources on advancing electricity in Nigeria through the solar power system. “

Also, speaking a Director at the firm, Don Guche urged Nigerians to also embrace the use of Solar energy as their mean source of power as Ergo Solar have several packages with warranty cover.
