Businessman decries unauthorised transactions with his name

By Chris Onuoha

The Chief Executive Officer, Nadisco Oil and Gas, Chief Nnamdi Emechebe has frowned at the unwarranted act of sabotage by some people close to him recently.

Emechebe who is also the founder and chairman of ‘Ezejiamatu Foundation’ lamented at the way and manner some people close to him operate clandestine business transactions in his name without his knowledge and consent.

Briefing newsmen on the activities of those he call dubious elements moonlighting under his name to transact business he knew nothing about, Emechebe stated it clear that he disassociates himself from any business transaction he did not endorse including soliciting for financial assistance under his name.

“It has become worrisome at the rate which people bring to my notice, businesses transacted with my company that are not genuine and authorized by me. Oftentimes, such business deals go wrong, with its attendant bad blood because of the manner of execution.

“Going forward, any business deal entered into by anyone with any staff, associate, subordinate or partner without my express permission is completely at the risk of the promoters. Any attempt to link such deal to me when it goes bad will not be entertained and would be met with legal options,” he said.

Emechebe advised prospective business men to be wise and contact him for proper guidance before embarking on any business transaction with his company.

“I cherish and jealously guard the reputation I have toiled for over the years. I also make bold to say that honesty and integrity are my forte, while I advise the general public to beware of dubious and uncanny elements masquerading under my company name to dupe,” he concludes.
