Ekiti decides 2022: Segun Oni, wife cast votes

The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in Ekiti State, Segun and his wife have successfully cast their ballot in the ongoing governorship poll in the state.

The gubernatorial hopeful and his wife cast their votes at Ward Four, Until 6, Ifaki Ekiti, the native town of the SDP flag bearer.

Meanwhile, Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Ekiti state, Dr Adeniran Tella has hailed the people of the state, security agencies another stakeholders for their peaceful disposition towards the ongoing governorship election in the state.

Dr Tella was speaking on Saturday when he received in audience the Acting Deputy Commandant General, Operations, of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps NSCDC, Haruna Garba.

Garba is in the state as head of the nearly 10, 000 NSCDC personnel deployed for the elections.

Tella specifically hailed the contributions of the NSCDC personnel who participated in the series of pre-election meetings and trainings held in the state.
