Nigerian  Afrobeats singer and songwriter, Oyedapo David, also known professionally as Ashidapo, has debunked the rumours doing the rounds that he has beefs with other artistes in the industry. However, the rumour was quickly debunked by the ‘Ballon Dior’ crooner, saying “I am not in competition with anyone or beefing anybody. I’m doing my thing and I am cool with it so far.

While reacting a music critic, who claimed anonymity, said Ashidapo’s music progressively enticed a packed throng to the scenic views in Lagos. His music has been compared to the perfect Nigerian weekend festivities because of its beautiful green ambience. “I don’t see any reason why he should beef anyone,” he concluded.

In fact some other music pundits have said that Ashidapo’s music is considered one of Nigeria’s lures given the diversity of musical genres, the depth of cultural traditions, and the blending of nationalities and contemporary identity.

“Ashidapo’s compositions have a visible effect on listeners and are generally enjoyable. As a result, listeners cannot help but nod along to the percussion of his song attributable to its rollicking pleasant melodies.”

More so, many of his fans confirm that his exceptional skill in weaving a realistic portrait of masculine traits is used to court women and the sounds of femininity. On the other hand, his lyrics’ appealing features are the shining characteristics of joy, sociable mood, and value systems. An illustration of this may be observed in his song lyrics, “Champagne, and Eazy Commando,” which underlined the thrilling intensity and vigour that release a person.
