Dexterous Nigerian Talent Manager, Broadcaster, A/R and Music Distribution/Marketing Specialist, Tumi Lawrence, better known as ‘Tumi Slizz’ in the entertainment circle has been on the rise in his chosen career fields which have earned him countless accolades he is actually worthy of.

Having worked with Raypower, Rainbow Fm, Star FM, OGBC, Rock City Fm, Paramount Fm, among others, the astute media entertainment personality who discovered Kizz Daniel as a new artist while he was still in school and got him signed to G-Worldwide while working on radio and running his own blog, ‘City Pluggers’, has earned himself countless feathers to his many caps in the media and entertainment circles.

Tumi who has always described himself as a Talent and Label Manager spearheaded the team that kick-started Kizz Daniel’s FlyBoy INC, after his exit from the Emperor Geezy led G-Worldwide Entertainment; a record label which was home to Kizz Daniel, Sugar Boy, DJ Shabzy and Ajura.

Looking at the career trajectory of the Mass Communication graduate of MAPOLY, he has been able to etch his shoes in the sands of tie on the Nigerian entertainment scene. His recent career achievements include Kizz Daniel’s US Tour in 2019, signing with empire, signing with Upfront and Personal, shows across Africa, the Barnabas EP and Kizz’s on-going Afro-Classic 8-Months World Tour.

Tumi who was at a time away from the Nigerian entertainment scene to focus on some personal ventures once noted that Kizz Daniel’s music career progress “has been phenomenal; from being unsigned, to a signed artiste, serial hit maker and award winner, with his music travelling beyond the shores of Africa and having sold out shows.”
