Police arrest 8 alleged homosexuals in Lagos

Friday the 31st of December 2021, resident of Isolo, witnessed Police crackdown on homosexuals in a hotel (in which some persons we interviewed described it as a brothel), that is within the neighborhood. According to the police spoke person (Olumuyiwa Adejobi), “There have been reports that the hotel harbours homosexuals. He stated that based on the tip they received from well meaning Nigerians, he said the police acted swiftly and arrested about 8 of the homosexuals, while a few number of them escaped, he said. He however stated that the arrested persons are now in the custody. Meanwhile, it was learnt that the suspects were rounded up at the Felinco hotel at about 4:20am, on Friday 31st December 2021, at the early hours of the morning. The hotel is said to be owned by a Business man from Imo state (name with held).

One of the arrested person, Funmilola Adiomowo, has denied being a homosexual. The said lady is alleging she only went there to party.

Interestingly, some of the arrested persons already mentioned names of their alleged partners. Amongst those persons we were able to interview are one Ms. Ngozi Obidike, according to her, she disclosed some clubs on the Mainland and Island in Lagos state as hang out spot for homosexuals and mentioned one Ms. Felicia Okonkwo as her partner, alongside other suspects whom the police are investigating.

Another of the arrested ladies identified as Gbemisola Olatunji, has confessed her involvement with few partners, according to her, she mentioned names of female partners she had dated prior and even recently, amongst her female partners are Jennifer Obasi, Yinka Fagba and Damilare Williams. Another suspect identified as ‘Naomi Eze’ allegedly confessed her involvement with one Nkechi Okafor and Ronke Victoria Shodunke, and the last one we could interview one Amarachi Nduka confessed being involved with Adenike Omo her partner.

According to the police spoke person, the Nigeria Police has begun investigation to apprehend those peesons that escaped, as well as their alleged partners. The police spoke person further stated that the police will continue to ensure that all persons involved in the act of homosexuality will be arrested and prosecuted.

Finally, he used the medium to appeal to Nigerians to tip them any gathering of homosexuality, as he says it is only then we can flush out homosexuals from amongst us.
