Anie Ifeoma Amalonye, CEO of Ify Autos, Nigeria’s top company in auto importation, has said that she has always been actively supporting orphans and widows.

This is even as she revealed how she ensures her children are not lost about their identity.

The Ify Autos boss and her family relocated to Canada a few years ago after she bagged her master’s degree in International Relationals and Diplomacy from Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, where she earlier had her first degree.

Today, millions of African families living abroad are unable to communicate in their local language, particularly among children who were born in the countries in their parents reside. It is not uncommon not to find many of them who are not familiar with the cultures of their fatherland.

The United Nations raised the alarm a few months ago, warning that 3,000 of the world’s 6,000 languages are on the verge of going into extinction. This has, however, not waved any red flag at people who have discarded their culture to pick up some regarded as more popular and fanciful.

But the Ify Autos CEO is one of the few Africans who are making sure that their kids live abroad, they are not far from their origin.
Anie Ifeoma Amalonye stated that she regularly brings her children to Africa and speaks to them in the local dialect.

“I take my kids to Africa every year and In my house, we only communicate in our local dialect. I also try to teach them our traditions either through visual or books”, Anie Ifeoma Amalonye said in an interview with reporters.

On her vision for the company, Anie Ifeoma Amalonye emphasised that the motive is for Ify Autos to live through many generations.

“Ify Autos will outlive every individual. It has come to stay even when I am no more ifyautos will still exist just like Mercedes”, she said.

Unveiling the plan of the company in Nigeria, Anie Ifeoma Amalonye revealed that it is to manufacture automobiles in the country.

“To get ify Autos to the stage of manufacturing automobiles in Nigeria for Nigerians and west Africa at large”, the entreprenuer stressed.

Apart from her passion for business, the businesswoman has been carrying the burdens of widows, orphans and the less privileged, even long before she launched her company.

“I have always been actively involve in supporting widows,orphans ,less privileged in the society even before the inception of ifyautos and I have continued in that light and hope to Increase the quota as ifyvAutos expands because I believe this is my social responsibility in giving back to the society,” the Ify Autos boss stated.
