National Lottery improving communities through charity organizations

The National Lottery Community Fund (formerly Big Lottery Fund) is giving grants to organisations in the UK to help improve their communities.

The organization awards money raised by National Lottery players to communities across the UK, working with local groups and UK-wide charities, enabling people and communities to thrive.

They have funded many NGOs including charitable organization like JOM Charity, who happens to be one of the beneficiaries because it is the only charity organization in Scotland that creates inter-relationship between African and Scottish community, using arts and it ranks JOM Charity high among other Charity in Scotland.

The national lottery community Fund has distributed £3.4 billion to communities across the UK through more than 72000 grants in five years.

The National Lottery Community Fund is the largest funder of community activity in the UK: “We are proud to award money raised by players of The National Lottery to communities across the UK” one of its source said.
