The Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba has described the National Chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC, Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole as a reliable leader, man-caring and God-fearing.

Clem who made this known in his birthday wishes to Oshiomhole who clock 68, said that he has built a party of discipline and obedience to rules and procedures.

“Our dear Comrade leader and national chair, it has pleased the Almighty God to keep you till now to witness yet another birthday in good health and divine protection. “There are, indeed, many reasons to thank God immensely for: the gift of life these past 68years and His bountiful blessings that hallmark another year are just a few.

While it is true that you are a worthy beneficiary of God’s abundant blessings, it is evidently true that your life has become a blessing to so many people. Right from your days as a labour unionist and leader through your eight-year tenure as governor of Edo State to your present engagement as national chairman of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), you have, at every intersection, provided a leadership that is reliable, man-caring and God-fearing.

“You have cut for yourself a niche as an audacious long-distance runner in the pursuit of common good, commitment to justice and fair accommodation of your political followers. Perhaps, to give continental expression to your commitment to your long-distance pursuits, you built the Okpekpe standard road infrastructure, as Edo State Governor, with which you promoted and realised the annual Okpekpe Marathon race. This also simply portrays you as a builder of legacies and there are so many others in Edo State that posterity will remember you for.

“In the saddle as National Chair of our party, you have worked very hard to build a party of discipline and obedience to rules and procedures. I am very glad to be identified with you and, today, I am happy to join members of your biological family, political family, associates and millions of well-wishers to celebrate your life of service on your 68th anniversary.

“I wish you many happy returns in good health and more wisdom to continue to provide leadership to the APC political family both at the national level and in Edo State.”
