For someone that loves music and is determined to make his presence  known, fast-rising singer, actress and model, Maria Ruby Sodjinou otherwise known as Rubyflashy has continuously made efforts to remain relevant in the music industry.

With several releases already dotting the music space, Rubyflashy says she derives so much joy being at the center of attention in the industry, doing what she had always wanted and loved.

“I have always loved music from childhood. Wizkid’s spice and juiceworld inspired me to do music,” she says

Although based in Ghana she observes that the music industry in Nigeria is huge hence the need to keep pushing out fresh contents.

“If you don’t want the people to forget you. You will agree with me that music lovers are constantly demanding that music acts stay on top of their game. Nigerian music industry is ahead at the moment compared to Ghana but generally, African music is winning everywhere in the world,” she states

The singer in an interview mentioned that it was not hard for her to make a name for herself in the industry because music has always been a part of her life which has made her to flow effortlessly.

“I have always loved music. I like to say that music is my life and I do it for passion. My life has revolved around music since I was young and the passion keeps growing very strong. It is not something that just happened overnight, my love for music comes naturally and it has made me connect more with the people, that’s why it’s  easy to  flow with the vibe,” he said.

The singer further disclosed she hopes to collaborate with any good artist from around the globe but holds that she has a special fascination for Wizkid and his brand of music.

Rubyflashy does Afro-fusion kind of music. She is also an actress , social media influencer and Tiktok star. Her father is from Benin, mother is Togolese Nigerian. She was born October 15, 1996 and currently based in Accra, Ghana.

Her musical journey started in 2019 when she recorded her first song titled “Loving You” at a friend’s studio but she didn’t give the song much promotions but it dully established her as a musical artist with great potential.

Up to date she has more than 5 songs to her credit.

Rubyflashy has stayed on top of her game which is one of the reasons  she’s fast becoming a force to reckon with as one of the new generation  artistes  making waves in the country and  the  world at large.
