The students also urged management of Institutions in the country not see unionism as a gathering to witch-hunt, but a forum where Administrative policy can be established on campus via students.
As part of the communique, NANS also urged the Federal Government and tertiary institutions not to pay lip service to entrepreneurship if it ever want to tackle the issues of unemployment amongst graduates.
“It is expedient for various institutions not to play with issue of entrepreneurship, as it will help in filling the vacuums of joblessness in the Society.”
The students therefore called upon the government at all levels to play a pivotal role towards protecting the interest of the students through adequate security and welfare packages.
