BENIN City—eminent Christians from acr-oss the country last Sund-ay converged at the head-quarters of Christ Chosen Church of God Internat-ional (CCCG), on Kilometre 8, Benin-Agbor Express-way, to grace the thanks-giving service which clim-axed the 2019 women con-vention of the church chri-stened “Chosen for impact”.
The service which witness-ed a testimony session, songs ministration by the church’s Uzama and Useh Divisional Mass Choir as well as a musical perform-ance by a Benin City-based guest artiste, Mama Naomi Ehigie who thrilled the congregation with differ-ent soul-touching melod-ious gospel songs.
In his message, the Spirit-ual Leader/General Over-seer, Most Senior Apostle David Unuefe Ikhuiwu ur-ged Christians, especially women to reflect on this year’s theme of the church with a view to possessing such characters that would always distinguish them in the society.

Speaking on: “Be a chosen woman of solution”, Apostle Ikhuiwu stressed that only divine chosen women can marry chosen men and build homes devoid of wranglings.
Noting that a true leader does not demand respect but commands it, the spi-ritual leader, who doubles as chairman, church coun-cil, charged women in va-rious positions to imbibe the spirit of peace, prayer and humility, saying that the positions they occupied do not guarantee them passage to heaven.
He further advised the wo-men not to see their hus-bands’ positions as a yard-stick to override the less privileged, but should al-ways serve as solution pro-viders in the society.
Drawing inspiration from I Samuel 25:1 and Esther 4:5, Apostle Ikhuiwu warn-ed the participants not to sow bad seeds in their children, maintaining that such seeds bring about future disunity both in the families and the society at large.
In her message at the event, a Senior Rev. in the church, Mrs. Philomena Atoe enjoined Christians to develop the right attitude that would enable them overcome challenges fac-ing them in life.
Rev. (Mrs.) Atoe who an-chored her message on “Developing success attitu-de”, said there was need for them to develop such atti-tude as demonstrated by biblical David and Joseph.
