Governor Nasir El Rufai polled 367 votes to defeat his closest rival, the Peoples Democratic Party candidate who polled 59 votes at polling unit 024, Angwan Sarki to emerge victorious at the governorship election.

It is the widest margin that the APC has polled at the polling unit in recent election at the unit.
