Breaking: APC’s Jaro Egbo wins Oharisi, clinch Ughelli North II seat

ASABA-CANDIDATE of All Progressives Congress, APC for Ughelli North constituency II, Olorogun Jaro Egbo has defeated candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and incumbent member representing the constituency in the State House of Assembly, Prince Eric Oharisi in the last Saturday’s House of Assembly elections.

Announcing the results, the Returning Officer, Dr Clara Obehi, said Olorogun Jaro Egbo polled 11,070 to defeat Prince Eric Oharisi who scored 10,740.

According to her, Olorogun Jaro Egbo is returned elected having polled the highest number of vote cast. Olorogun Jaro Egbo who spoke to newsmen moments after his declaration, thanked God and the people of Ughelli North constituency II for the show of love and confidence reposed on him.

While dedicating his victory at the polls to God and his constituents, Egbo promised not to betray the confidence the people reposed on him.

He thanked his campaign team, his leaders, Engr Sam Adjogbe, Chief Austin Uloho, Chief Joseph Ubido, Prince Elvis Oharisi, Chief Sylvester Kohwo and a host of others for their support and prayers.
