OLEH—MINORITY Leader of the House of Representatives, Mr. Leo Ogor, of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has urged the All Progressives Congress, APC, for Isoko Federal constituency, Delta State, Mr. Joel Onowakpo-Thomas, to accept defeat and see the outcome of the February 23, National Assembly election in the constituency as the wish of Isoko people.

Onowakpo-Thomos had called on the Chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, to investigate alleged abuse of law during the election in the constituency, alleging that voting went on “peacefully until the peaceful atmosphere was disrupted in Isoko North, while the election process was hijacked by PDP hoodlums.”

Reacting to the publication, Ogor in a statement by the Director Media and Publicity, Isoko North PDP Campaign Committee, Mr. Nelson Egware, urged Onowakpo-Thomos to accept the outcome of the election and stop crying foul “or approach the elections petitions tribunal to challenge his victory.”
