PMT celebrates valentine day with orphans

In its quest to identify with the less privileged in the society, Peace Mass Transit celebrated the Valentine’s Day with Mercy and Charity Orphanage Home.

PMT management team used the opportunity of the Valentine Day to distribute gifts to the orphans who were apparently destitute of where their next meal would come from.

Lead by the Vice Chairman, Chief Mrs Emilia Oniyishi said: “Love shouldn’t be limited to only one day but should be expressed, shared and celebrated every day.”

Mrs  Oniyishi who expressed her pleasure on how well the home is being run, however insists that at a day like that people should remember the poor in the society.

While commending the effort of the founder of the home, Rev. Dr. Wili Ani, she described him as a care giver. She urged them to continue with their good works, stressing that their good works would not go unnoticed.

Following the visit, the team showered  love to the orphans  through donations of food  stuff and cash pledges.

The management of the orphanage home lauded the love gesture of PMT. While expressing his pleasure towards the donations, Dr. Ani said: “The lives of the orphans are greatly touched by the team’s kind gestures. We are grateful and prayed for your safe return to your homes.”
