The Imo state governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hope Uzodinma, Wednesday assured the Southeast region that the second term of President Muhammadu Buhari would continue to favour the Ndigbo.

Uzodinma spoke through his Director of Media and Special Duties, Declan Emelumba, in Owerri, while reacting to the declaration of President Muhammadu Buhari, as the winner of 2019 Saturday’s presidential election.

It was Uzodinma’s view that the second journey of Buhari, would be inclusive based style of governance.

He added that, in order for Imo state to be connected to the center, that Imolites should come out and vote massively for APC, in the forthcoming governorship and House of Assembly elections.

He said: “The APC governorship candidate in Imo state Sen Hope Uzodimma has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari for emerging victorious in the just concluded presidential election in the country noting that his victory is a clear indication that Nigerians are happy with his programmes

“The governorship candidate also thanked Nigerians for voting massively in the presidential election and urged them to vote APC all the way in the coming elections.”

He maintained that, “Imo people in particular should come out in their thousands and vote APC in the governorship elections to reassure the president of their love for him and the party.

“The landslide victory of President Buhari in the elections was a clear demonstration that Nigerians love him and urged Imo people to stand up to be counted in the next election.”
