The respected Lagos high Chief Tunde Fanimokun has been overwhelmingly and unanimously returned as President of Eko Club, one of the most prestigious Social Club in Nigeria for 2nd term at the just concluded Annual general meeting held on 27th February 2019 on the premises of the Club.

Fanimokun was described as a miracle worker due to his first class performance during his first term as the President of Eko Club, one of the members said that Fanimokun is a first class individual who has brought unprecedented development to Eko Club within just two years as President in both physical architectural development, which has not being witness since the inception of the Club over four decades ago.

Chief Tunde Fanimokun a development economist who has meticulously and unblemished served both in public and private sector over the years, is also referred to as the engine room of the administration of former Lagos governor Alhaji Lateef Jakande between 1979 – 1983 as a young man then was reputed as a super permanent secretary.

He is a technocrat per excellent and an accomplished management consultant cum entrepreneur.

True to his type, Chief ‘Tunde Fanimokun is currently engineering a multi – billion Naira project to be known as the LAGOON CITY on the snake Island Lagos as the pioneer coordinator and Board Chairman.

Fanimokun is being affectionately called the “action” President of Eko club (POTEC) in appreciation of his sterling performance, before the advent of his administration which was tagged “New Dawn Administration”, the average net income of the Eko Club from 2000 to 2016 was approximately 56 million naira.

But in his first year in office, the gross revenue target moved up to 168 million naira as he projected.

This was like a miracle to most of the club members who initially thought it was an over ambitious projection.

Due to his wealth of experience and exposure, Chief Fanimokun did not rest on his oars together with his team “New Dawn Administration”, his second year resulted in 250% increase to 440 million naira.

Fanimokun who is also the CAPTAIN OF THE BOYZ at the social circle delivered three brand new Landmark at Eko Club, namely the Digital Lounge, the APERANJE (EXCLUSIVE) Lounge and the (new) BAMBOO to usher in the 2nd term of the XIX President of Eko Club (POTEC) and also in honour of HRM Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (a.k.a. KING GUSH), a patron of the Eko Club and the sponsor of the new BAMBOO ELEGUSHI.
