Lalong in company of his wife, Regina and daughter, who just turned 18 voted at about 10:37am, said he was sure of victory for his party, All Progressives Congress, APC but appealed to the electoral body to ensure the parties’ logos are boldly shown to avoid mix-up.
Speaking with journalists shortly after casting his vote, he said, “We don’t have problems anywhere, if there was any, as the chief security officer, I would have known. Everything is going very peaceful it is a great honour for us as Nigerians to exercise our franchise to vote and select our leaders. It is going to be a very peaceful election and I see a clear victory for my party. We have peace for a long time, it is not this election that will bring crisis, nobody should expect any problems from Plateau State.

“There is a little challenge with the ballot papers, I was trying to look to be sure that I got my party, I had to look two or three times, they should make it very bold so that we can see very well. I thank the people of the state for coming out to exercise their franchise.”
