Following the postponement of last Saturday’s Presidential and House of Assembly elections, which has continued to generate a lot of mixed-reactions across the country, maverick musician,Charly Boy, has called on Nigerian to resist any attempt to jeopardize their chances of deciding whether they want to continue in their Mumu ways’, or not.
In a series of posts on his Instagram page, during the week, Charly Boy vowed to die fighting for his freedom than to be ‘a prisoner all the days of my life.’
According to him, “The inevitable can be postponed., it can be delayed but it can NEVER be changed.” “The one week postponement of election would give President Buhari @MBuhari additional time to write what he is going to say when he concedes Insha Allah.”
“Many years ago, Chinua Achebe declared that “we have fallen apart”. What do you think? Have we fallen apart as a Nation? Or has it grown worse?,” asked the maverick musician.
Also, in an interview with NAN, Chraly Boy declared to lead a peaceful protest to the headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) if the agency shifts the Presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday. He warned that any further shift of the elections, especially the presidential poll, would be protested by his group.
