KATSINA – A new speaker and a member representing Zangon Daura Constituency, Tasi’u Zango has emerged in the Katsina State House of Assembly.

Tasi’u’s emergence followed the vacuum created by the former Speaker, Abubakar Yahaya Kusada who contested and won the Kankia, Kusada, Ingawa Federal constituency bye election on November 17th, 2018.

He defeated four (4) other members to assume the number three position in the state.

Members who contested for the position alongside Tasi’u were those representing Mani, Daura, Kusada and Baure.

The new speaker, Tasi’u was sworn in by the Clerk of the House, Musa Bakori.
